Teachers want GO scrapped

HYDERABAD: The AP United Teachers’ Federation has criticised the Government for allegedly cheating teachers by issuing a ‘secret’ GO 519 sanctioning leave with half salary, after promising them special leave, for the period they boycotted SSC spot valuation in April this year.

The UTF leaders wanted withdrawal of the GO and sanction of special leave as promised by Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. —Special Correspondent
