Congress failed on health front, says TDP

Hyderabad: Newly elected Telugu Desam Party’s city president K. Vijayarama Rao has lashed out at the State Government for its ‘failures’ on the health front.

At a press conference here on Sunday, he said the Government had ‘miserably’ failed in both prevention and cure of several diseases afflicting people like malaria, gastroenteritis, dengue or viral fevers. He said in at least 10 districts statistics showed that people had lost their lives from these diseases. From primary health centres to general hospitals, it was a pathetic state of affairs.
