BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh Chief Shivraj Singh Chauhan responded to complaints during his Jan Darshan (mass-contact) programme in Shajapur district by issuing orders to suspend four officers. During his two-day Jan Darshan program, which ended this morning, the Chief Minister suspended the Electricity Board sub-engineering M.K. Shukla for alleged failure on his part to replace the transformer at village Panchdeharia. Orders were also issued to suspend the Food Inspector Manoj Sharma posted at Arniyankalan for alleged irregularities in distribution of kerosene. Along with a tehsildar, a patwari was also suspended for alleged irregularities in land mutation cases. While taking stern action against those facing complaints, the Chief Minister gave a pat to the concerned officers of the Women and Child development department on the basis of the feedback received from the villagers.
