BATALA: Senior SAD leader Mahant Gurdayal Singh and 12 of his associates were booked on charges of demolishing four shops on the ground floor of his house here despite a stay order from a court, police said. Police said the shops in the four-storied building at Cinema Raod in the city which had been rented to tenants for the last three decades, were allegedly demolished by him and his supporters on Saturday night. The tenants had earlier obtained a stay order, police said. A case under various sections of IPC has been registered against them, but no arrest has been made so far, police added. - PTI
