CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government has already attracted industrial investment of Rs. 28,000 crores during the last 30 months and investment of Rs. 60,000 crores was also in the pipeline. Besides, the Government’s target was to invite investment of Rs. 2.00 lakh crores, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said on Sunday. Addressing a public meeting at Mujesar in Faridabad district, he said that his regime is giving special thrust on the promotion of industrial infrastructure in the State and setting up of model industrial townships. He observed that earlier Faridabad was reckoned among 10 top industrial cities of the country but due to some reasons, it had lost its identity on the industrial map of India. Mr.Hooda asserted that the lost glory of Faridabad would be restored and an industrial model township would be developed on 1,832 acres of land. All obstacles had been removed in the construction of elevated highway which would be constructed near Badarpur and the work would start soon.
