School of Medical Education: The entrance counselling for various undergraduate level courses offered by the School of Medical Education (SME) will commence on September 13. Those who hold ranks from 1501 to 2100 should be present at t he SME, Gandhi Nagar campus, with original certificates at the time stipulated in their memo. Counselling for NRI seats in all undergraduate and PG courses offered by the SME, except B.Sc. (Nursing) and M.Sc. (Anatomy) will be held on September 11. Eligible candidates should be present at the SME Gandhi Nagar campus at 10 a.m. that day. Some general and reservation seats are vacant in the postgraduate programmes in biochemistry, biomedical instrumentation, MHA, MPH, anatomy, medical documentation, offered by SME. Eligible candidates should be present at campus at 10 a.m. on September 11.

School of Pedagogical Sciences: Three vacancies of Scheduled Tribe candidates remain to be filled in the M.Ed. programme offered by the School of Pedagogical Sciences for the year 2007-08. Eligible candidates should meet the director o f the School at 10 a.m. on September 10.

School of Computer Science: Two vacancies of Scheduled Tribe candidates remain to be filled for the M.Sc. (Computer Sciences) offered by the School of Computer Science. Candidates must meet the director at 10 a.m. on September 13 with original certificates.

University College of Engineering, Thodupuzha: Candidates who want lateral entry under management quota at the third semester level for the following programmes offered by the University College of engineering, Thodupuzha should apply before September 24. Diploma holders with 60 per cent marks and rank holders in entrance examinations held by the LBS can apply. For details contact Tel. 04862-256222.

PhD Programmes: The last date for submitting applications for the common aptitude test for the PhD programme offered by the Mahatma Gandhi University has been extended to September 25.

School of Bio Sciences: Applications are called for the MSc (Bio Sciences) programme for the year 2007-08. Last date for submitting applications is September 17. Contact Tel.: 0481 2731035.

Inter Collegiate/Inter University Transfer for BHMS Programme: MG University has called for applications for inter collegiate and inter university transfers for the second year BHMS programmes at affiliated colleges. Candidates should have completed the first year examinations and should be students of second year programme. Applications should be submitted along with recommendation from principal, certified copy of the rank memo issued by the Commissioner of State Entrance Examination before September 17.
