Appointed office-bearers of JD (S) faction

BANGALORE: The Janata Dal (Secular) Surendra Mohan faction has nominated office-bearers for its city unit as well as legislative assembly constituencies in Bangalore.

A release from the Janata Dal (S) Surendra Mohan faction city unit president P.S. Prakash said that Govindaraya has been appointed as senior vice-president of the Bangalore city unit while A.M. Rammurthy Reddy and Gangadhar Pandit have been appointed vice-presidents.

J. Padmanabh has been appointed General Secretary.

The others who were appointed are D. Ravi and Somashekar (secretaries) N. Shekar and B.S. Balraj (assistant secretaries), Shashikumar (treasurer) and B.N. Ramesh (office secretary)

Similarly, presidents have been appointed for five legislative assembly constituencies. They are P. Nagaraju (Chickpet), K.N. Lakshmana Gowda (Basavanagudi), Rajesh Kumar (Jayanagar), C. Muthuswamy (Binnypet) and Chandramohan (Malles- waram).
