Committee to probe Akhtar brawl

Karachi: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Naseem Ashraf, has constituted a three-member committee to probe the brawl between Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif in South Africa.

The probe would be headed by Shafqat Naghmi, Chief Executive, PCB, and the other members are Director (Cricket Operations), Zakir Khan, and Human Resources Director, Nadeem Akram.

Ashraf also asked Akhtar and other members of the Pakistan team to keep mum on the issue until the probe was completed and findings were released. — PTI
