Mayank wins

CHENNAI: Mayank (SS) defeated Mazar (SS) by four frames to two in the final of the MUC non-medallist snooker tournament on Saturday.

In the doubles final, Rajkumar and Premkumar of TNSC combined to beat Udayaraj and Lokesh (PS) 4-2.

The results: Snooker: Singles: Final: Mayank (SS) bt Mazar (SS) 52-51, 35-44, 69-11, 68-41, 20-51, 56-10; Semifinals: Mazar bt Manoj Chacko (TC) 48-57, 46-30, 60-10, 65-49; Mayank bt Sakthivel (SS) 59-50, 28-53, 56-1 0, 59-48.

Doubles: Final: Rajkumar & Premkumar (TNSC) bt Udayaraj & Lokesh (PS) 64-26, 47-15, 53-15, 41-61, 15-63, 56-42.
