Narrow win for Air-India

CHENNAI: Air-India scored a one-wicket win over Retravision Warriors on the final day of the three-day cricket match at the MRF Pachaiyappas College ground on Sunday.

Requiring 189 to win, Air-India managed to reach the target with the last pair in. Larson D’Costa with an unbeaten 49 (4x4, 1x6) was the hero for Air-India. For the loser, Aaron Heal with a five-for-68 effort helped provide a close contest.

The scores: Retravision Warriors 226 & 88 lost to Air-India 126 & 189 for nine in 63.2 overs (Larson D’Costa 49 not out, Aaron Heal five for 68).
