BANGALORE: All second pre-university examination question papers, barring science subjects with practicals, will have questions for a total of 100 marks. This new system will come into force for the academic years 2007-08 and 2008-09. The pattern will revert to the old system of 90 marks for theory and 10 marks for internal assessment, from the academic year 2009-10. An official notification from the State Pre-University Education Department said instead of the 10 internal assessment marks, the papers for the two academic years will feature questions for 10 marks based on assignments, projects and work books. Blueprints of the new pattern and model question papers will be sent to all the pre-university colleges of the State. Internal assessment will be restored from the academic year 2009-10.
