Rupee marginally up

MUMBAI: The rupee ended marginally up at Rs 40.67/68 against the U.S. currency on Monday, buoyed by sustained foreign institutional investment (FII) into equity markets and in the absence of dollar demand from oil companies. In an otherwise lacklustre trade at the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee resumed weak at 40.75/77 from Friday’s close of 40.69/70 and later moved in a range of 40.60 and 40.77 during the day. — PTI
