NEW DELHI: National champion Tania Sachdev jumped to joint lead in the Asian women’s chess championship after beating Iran’s Atousa Pourkashiyan in the seventh round in Teheran on Sunday.
Tania’s fourth victory of the competition raised her aggregate to five points.
She now shares the lead with Nguyen Thi Thanh An, Le Thanh Tu (both Vietnam) and Ruan Lufei and Huang Qian (both China).
