Traffic restrictions today

BANGALORE: Traffic is likely to be affected in certain parts of the city on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in view of the visits of Mexican President Felipe Calderon Hinojosa and Prime Minister of Bulgaria Sergei Stanishev.

During Mr. Hinojosa’s visit on Tuesday, traffic is likely to affected on Airport Road (between 8.30 a.m. to 10.10 a.m.); Airport Road, Indiranagar 100 Foot Road, Koramangala 80 Foot Road, Koramangala Inner Ring Road, Sarjapur Road, Hosur Road and Electronics City Road (between 10.10 a.m. and 11 a.m.) and Electronics City Road, Hosur Road, up to Madivala mosque, Koramangala 100 Foot Road, Inner Ring Road, Indiranagar 100 Foot Road and Airport Road (between 11 a.m. and 2.45 p.m.), according to a release from the Commissioner of Police Neelam Achuta Rao.

During the Bulgarian Prime Minister’s visit on Wednesday, traffic is likely to be affected on Airport Road (between 11.30 a.m. and 6 p.m.); and Airport Road, Indiranagar 100 Foot Road, Trinity Church Road, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Dickenson Road, Cubbon Road and Raj Bhavan Road (between 6.15 p.m. and 10 p.m.)

On Thursday, traffic will be affected on Airport Road, Indiranagar 100 Foot Road, Koramangala 80 Foot Road, Koramangala Inner Ring Road, Sarjapur Road, Hosur Road and Electronics City Road (between 8.50 a.m. and 11.30 a.m.) and Electronics City Road, Hosur Road up to Madivala mosque, Koramangala 100 Foot Road, Inner Ring Road, Indiranagar 100 Foot Road and Airport Road (between 11.30 a.m. and 1.10 p.m.)
