Two militants surrender in Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu: Two militants, including one belonging to the Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami , have surrendered to security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.
The HUJI militant, Shabir Ahmed, active since 2004, surrendered with arms and ammunition before troops in the Sewa area of Chatroo belt in Kishtwar district on Tuesday , official sources said.
The other belonging to the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen laid down arms before security forces in Baramulla district on Monday, a Defence spokesman said. The militant returned from Pakistan occupied Kashmir in April this year. — PTI
