Remembering a genius



K. Ayyappa Panicker


Noted poet K. Ayyappa Panicker’s 78th birth anniversary will be celebrated on September 12. The Ayyappa Panicker Foundation is organising a symposium and poetry reading session in connection with the celebrations at VJT Hall at 10 a.m. O.N.V. Kurup, Sugatakumari, Kadammanitta Ramakrishnan, Chemmanam Chacko, Kavalam Narayana Panicker, Sachithanandan and Attoor Ravi Varma, and Kilimanoor Ramakanthan will participate in the poets conference at 4 p.m. Professor M.K. Sanu will moderate the symposium. Culture Minister M.A. Baby will inaugurate the public meeting at 6.30 p.m.
