‘Special Consultative Status’ for Isha Foundation

COIMBATORE: The Economic and Social Council of the United Nations has granted ‘Special Consultative Status’ to Isha Foundation, a release from the foundation here said.

The Council granted the status to non-Governmental organisations in order to work with them and use their expertise and resources for various projects of the United Nations.

Isha Foundation, established by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, had been implementing public service programmes and conducting various yoga programmes, the release said.
