REMEMBERING THE POET: Chief Minister N. Rangasamy offering floral tributes to Subramanya Bharathi in Puducherry on Tuesday.
PUDUCHERRY: Chief Minister N.Rangasamy led the people of the Union Territory in paying homage to poet Subramanya Bharathi on his 86th death anniversary. Mr. Rangasamy garlanded the statue of Bharathi near the Assembly. He also visited the Bharathi Museum and paid homage. Ministers, legislators and Tamil scholars also offered floral tributes at the venue. Poems recited
Students of Bharathiar Palkalai Koodam recited Bharathi’s poems at a function held at the manimandapam in Ariyankuppam.
