CHENNAI: Two Additional Directors-General of Police (ADGPs) and three Deputy Inspectors-General (DIGs) are among officers shifted as part of a shuffle in postings on Tuesday.
The Government has posted a Commissioner for Tirunelveli City and a DIG for Ramanathapuram Range. Vibhakar Sharma, ADGP/Member, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board, Chennai, and N. Balachandran ADGP, Civil Supplies, CID, Chennai, will swap places.
K. Thukkaiandi, Inspector-General of Police (IGP), has been posted as IGP, SIC, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Chennai, in place of G. Umaganapathy Sastry, who has been transferred as IGP, Economic Offences Wing.
M.N. Manjunatha, DIG, Coimbatore Range, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Tirunelveli. Seema Agrawal, hitherto DIG, Administration, Chennai, replaces him. Rajeev Kumar, DIG, Technical Services, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Ramanathapuram Range.
K. Periaiah, hitherto Superintendent of Police (SP), Villupuram district, is the new SP, Kancheepuram district.
He replaces A. Amalraj, who has been transferred as SP, Villupuram district.
