Paloli hospitalised
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister for Local Self Government Paloli Mohamed Kutty was admitted to hospital here on Tuesday after he collapsed in his chair during a meeting at the Secretariat Durbar Hall. The Minister’s office said he was chairing a meeting of panchayat representatives to discuss the plastic ban. He was rushed to the General Hospital where doctors advised that he be shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital or the Sri Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Science and Technology. Later in the day, Mr. Paloli was admitted to the institute. Sources close to the Minister said doctors had pronounced his condition as stable. He would remain in hospital for two days for close observation. — Special Correspondent
