CHENNAI: The penultimate round of the UCAL Rolon National road racing championship will be held this weekend at the Madras Motor Race Track at Sriperumbudur with the qualifying round on September 15 and the main races the next day.
Around 100 riders will be seen in action including Preetam Dev Moses, K. Rajini and Ashwin Sunder, who have made their international debut. Preetam (Team TVS) heads the table in Group C 2 stroke 110-150cc class with 192 points followed by T.K. Vishwanath (Team Yamaha) having 184 points and Sriskandarajah (Team Yamaha) with 150 points.
Rajini in lead
K. Rajini (Team TVS) leads in Group D 4stroke 125-160 cc class with 182 points followed by Harry Sylvester and P. Karthick with 159 and 155 points respectively. In the 80-125 cc class in the same category, Sriskandarajah and Harry Sylvester with 151 points each are on a tie.
Preetam leads in the 110-160 cc class in Group B 4 stroke, with a tally of 184 points followed by K. Rajini with 165 points. — Special Correspondent
