Naren hits hundred

VIJAYAWADA: Naren’s 129 for Kadapa against Chittoor was the highlight of the first day’s play in the two-day ACA South Zone u-15 inter-district cricket tournament being played at Kurnool.

The scores: Anantapur 190 in 50.4 overs (Imtiyaz 74, Irfan 46 not out, Ramanjaneyulu three for 33) vs. Kurnool 146 for six in 50 overs (Irfan three for 44).

Kadapa 242 in 63.3 overs (Naren 129, Sanjay six for 59) vs. Chittoor 47 for six in 25.4 overs (Saleem three for 3).
