Double for Shiv Nayak

BANGALORE: Shiv Nayak claimed a double in the boys’ under-13 section in the East Cultural Association’s State-ranking badminton championship here on Tuesday.

The results (finals): Boys: Under-10: Mithun Manjunath bt Abhishek 21-6, 21-4. Under-13: Shiv Nayak bt S. Siddarth 21-16, 20-22, 21-18. Doubles: Shiv Nayak & S. Siddarth bt Sudip Suresh & K .V. Rakshith 21-15, 21-9.

Under -16 doubles: Chirag & Sai Praneeth bt G.K. Ashwin & Vinay Hari 23-21, 22-20.

Girls: Under-10: Mahima Agarwal bt Deepali 21-11, 21-17. Under-13: Anisha Karumbaiah bt V. Poorvisha 21-16, 21-19. — Special Correspondent
