CUTTACK: Three passengers, including a six-month-old baby, died and 40 others sustained injuries two buses collided at Parabil near Kandarpur on Tuesday. Thirty of the injured were taken to the SCB Medical College and Hospital, while the rest are undergoing treatment at local hospitals, according to the police. SCB hospital sources said the condition of ten persons was serious. The deceased were identified as Trilochan Swain, 32, Dilip Das, 8, and Gudu, a six-month-old boy. While Swain, a native of Kendrapara district, died on the spot, Dilip of Cuttack city died on way to hospital and Gudu succumbed to injuries. Eyewitnesses said both the vehicles were going very fast. Traffic on the road came to a halt when mob staged a road blockade.
