Proposal for medical college

KORAPUT: Minister for Health Duryodhan Majhi said on Tuesday that the State Government was contemplating of upgrading existing hospital at Koraput into a medical college to meet the needs of the region. Speaking to newsmen here the Minister said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had evinced interest in starting a medical college at a high-level meeting held in Bhubaneswar.

Mr. Majhi visiteddifferent places affected by diarrhoea-hit places and interacted with people and medicos.
