BIJAPUR: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy is scheduled to make a night halt at Surmutyan tanda in Indi taluk on September 16. He was to stay at the tanda on June 23 but the programme was cancelled at the eleventh hour due to incessant rain. According to his itinerary, Mr. Kumaraswamy, who will travel by helicopter, will arrive at Jigajinagi village of Indi taluk by 4 p.m., and launch a series of development schemes before holding a public grievance meeting there. Later, he will move to nearby Surmutyan tanda for an overnight stay. On September 17, he is scheduled to pay visit to a temple at Somadevarahatti before going to Sindagi town at noon. He will address a party workers meeting and participate in some private functions there before leaving for Bangalore at 2 p.m.
