Two Indian fishing boats missing

RAMANATHAPURAM: Two Indian fishing boats, which ventured into the sea on Monday, have been reported missing in Sri Lankan territorial waters. According to S. Velpandian, Assistant Director of Fisheries, Rameswaram, boat number TN-10 MSB-763, owned by Sahayam of Thangachimadam, and TN-10 MSB 744, owned by Titus of Pamban, were yet to return.

He had received information that Sri Lankan authorities had taken control of the boats, with 10 fishermen on board.
