CHICKBALLAPUR: Elections to the posts of president and vice-president of Chickballapur Zilla Panchayat will be held on September 14, Deputy Commissioner Subodhkanth Sahay has said. Both the posts are reserved for general category candidates. Bangalore Divisional Commissioner has been appointed as returning officer for the polls. The elections on Friday formally constitutes the first zilla panchayat of the new district.
