Karnataka, TN post wins

VIJAYAWADA: Tamil Nadu registered a seven–wicket win over Goa, while Karnataka scored a 191-run victory over Andhra in the South Zone senior women’s one-day cricket tournament for the T.N. Pillai Trophy at Anantapur on Wednesday, according to information reaching here.

The scores: Karnataka 284 for one in 50 overs (Karuna Jain 126 not out, Sindhu Ashok 115 not out) bt Andhra 93 in 46.5 overs.

Hyderabad 169 in 44.2 overs (Hamsavalli four for 19) bt Kerala 85 in 45.5 overs.

Goa 72 in 45 overs (P. Kamini four for 15) lost to Tamil Nadu 73 for two in 19.3 overs.
