Seven-wicket win for Kurnool

VIJAYAWADA: Kurnool defeated Anantapur by seven wickets, while the Kadapa-Chittoor match ended in a draw in the Matrix Labs ACA South Zone under-15 inter-district cricket tournament for the A.V. Narasimha Reddy Trophy at Kurnool on Wednesday, according to information reaching here.

The scores: Anantapur 190 in 50.4 overs & 36 in 14.3 over (Preetam seven for 12) lost to Kurnool 191 in 67.3 overs (Ranapratap 44, Irfan Basha four for 59) & 37 for three in 6.1 overs.

Kadapa 242 in 63.3 overs & 253 for five in 51.4 overs (Naren 108, Vamsi 97) drew with Chittoor 64 in 34.1 overs (Saleem six for eight) & 149 for two in 25 overs (Sadiq 92).
