Interactive Bible CDs

Kochi: A package of interactive CDs, including an encyclopaedia of the Bible, compiled by Z.M. Moozhoor, will be released soon. Father Moozhoor, based at St. Vincent’s Monastery in Pala, said that 10 years of work went into the preparation of the Biblical encyclopaedia and it took another two years to convert it into an interactive CD. The package is being released by Aramam Vision and Cultural Centre, Pala.

Father Moozhoor, who belongs to the order of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate, said that the CD had games, quizzes and songs that would help everyone understand the Bible easily and better.

The new product will reveal the 6,000-year history of the Bible and is the result of efforts by several scholars and artistes. Consultants to the edition included Sukumar Azhikode, O.N.V. Kurup, K.P. Appan and M. Mukundan, novelist.

The CDs will be released at a function in Thiruvananthapuram on September 18.

Noted film director Adoor Gopalakrishnan will deliver the inaugural address and release the first copy.
