KOZHIKODE: Entry of visitors to the Institute of Maternal and Child Health (IMCH) at the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital will be regulated as a measure to control spread of infections caused by overcrowding. The visitor’s time will be between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Visitors will be allowed to use the free pass to enter the institute only 4 times. Only one person will be allowed to enter the hospital at a time using this pass. However, in emergency cases, special passes costing Rs. 5 will be issued. These can be used to enter the hospital between 12 noon and 2 p.m. Visitors will not be allowed to spend more than 30 minutes inside the hospital. The visitor can be meet only one patient using the pass. Special ‘food pass’ will be issued to bring food for patients. This pass can be used between 6.30 a.m. and 8 a.m., 12 noon and 1 p.m. and 7pm and 8 pm. Superintendent K.
