New courses launched

COIMBATORE: Alagappa University, Coimbatore, has introduced two undergraduate programmes in Computer Science and Information Technology and one post-graduate programme in Computer Science.

Students who have completed Plus-Two are eligible for the Bachelor’s programmes and for the post-graduate programmes, eligibility is graduation in any subject with Plus-Two level Mathematics.

For those who have completed diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Technology, Communication Engineering or Computer Applications direct admission to the second year is possible. The university offers MBA programmes in International Business, Corporate Secretaryship, Banking and Finance, Project Management, Investment Management, Hospital Management, Education Management and Tourism.

Students who have completed relevant diplomas, can get direct second year admissions to Bachelor of Commerce, Business Administration and Computer Applications.

The last date for admissions is September 15 for courses such as MBA, MCA and PGDCA and for other courses, September 30.
