KOCHI: The host Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, entered the boys’ and girls’ finals of the 15th Bhavan’s inter-school basketball tournament here on Thursday.
The finals will be played on Monday and Bhavan’s will meet Rajagiri Public School (Kalamassery) in the boys’ section and Choice School (Tripunithura) in girls’ clashes.
The results:
Boys: Semifinals: Rajagiri PS, Kalamassery 46 (Abay 20) bt Choice, Tripunithura 17; Bhavan’s, Elamakkara 44 (Neeraj A. Koshy 16) bt Navy Children’s School, Willingdon Island 16.
Quarterfinals: Choice bt Bhavan’s, Giringar 49-30; Navy Children bt St. Paul’s International School, Kalamassery 37-22.
Girls: Semifinals: Bhavan’s, Elamakkara 57 (N. Ramola 12) bt Bhavan’s, Eroor 11; Choice, Tripunithura 33 (Suzana 18, Feffi 10) bt St. Peter’s, Kadayiruppu 14 (Hanna 12). — Principal Correspondent
