RAMANATHAPURAM: The police on Thursday arrested three persons and seized 300 bags of ration rice. Sources said the smuggling was came to light when the police from Kenikarai intercepted a lorry at Vaani near here and checked. K. Mani (36) of Koilpatty, M. Pandi (23) of Karaikudi and M. Muniasamy (30) of Ramanathapuram were arrested. Later, they were handed over to the food cell police at Virudhunagar for further action.
