Farmers’ rally for fair prices

NEW DELHI: Bharti Kissan Union (Ekta), Punjab, will hold a rally-cum-dharna at Jantar Mantar here on Friday to demand fair price for paddy, cotton and sugarcane. The protest march will be joined by BKU leaders from Haryana and U.P.

Later they will submit a memorandum of their demands to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar.
