Rs. 550 crore for school buildings

BANGALORE: Public Works Minister H.D. Revanna has said Rs. 550 crore would be spent on constructing buildings for the newly sanctioned schools and colleges in the State.

The National Bank Agricultural and Rural Development had sanctioned funds for the buildings in rural areas, he told presspersons here on Thursday.

Earlier, the Minister presided over a Cabinet sub-committee meeting on implementation of a special farmers’ package in six districts. — Special Correspondent
