Knowledge Park to come up in Hisar

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Thursday announced establishment of a Knowledge Park in Hisar to conduct research on industrial products and said that the Government would provide all basic facilities.

He was addressing faculty members and students at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology in Hisar. He said the Government was giving special thrust to promoting technical education and the budget of the Department had been increased fourfold and the strength of the students had increased from 23,000 to 48,000 during last 30 months. Also, 20 new technical institutes had been set up

Guru Jambheshwar University Vice-Chancellor R. P. Bajpai, said that three job-oriented courses had been introduced .
