HUDA delegates development powers to GHMC

HYDERABAD: The HUDA has delegated all development control powers including enforcement and monitoring to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, including the erstwhile 12 municipal areas, with effect from September 17.

Thus HUDA will not receive any development permission application for building permissions, layouts, issue of No objection certificates in the GHMC area from September 17.

However the development permission application in the GHMC area received by HUDA prior to September 17 will be processed by HUDA and released through GHMC, according to a release.
