Symposium on peace

NEW DELHI: A symposium on Daisaku Ikeda’s peace proposal will be held at Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts here on September 20.

A prolific writer and peace proponent, Dr. Ikeda is president of Soka Gakkai International, a Buddhist association pursuing the values of peace, culture and education. The keynote address will be delivered by Chinmaya R. Gharekhan, India’s special envoy for the West Asia peace process.
