One killed in accident

NEW DELHI: One person was killed and three seriously injured when their jeep rammed into a truck on Tilak Marg here on Thursday.

The accident took place in the early hours of the day when the four -- Praveen, Gurwinder, Anil and Kanhiya -- jumped the traffic signal on Bhairon Road and rammed into the truck coming from the opposite direction. The victims were in an inebriated state at the time of accident, the police said.

Praveen died on the spot. Gurwinder and Anil have been admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital .
