Happy to be a villain

Staff Reporter

Chennai: Actor Dinesh Lamba, who has 20 Hindi movies and a dozen commercials to his credit, has made his foray into Kollywood, and is keen on doing Tamil films.

The actor made his debut in Tamil as a villain in G.V. Films’ ‘Urchagam’. “I went to a theatre where ‘Urchagam’ was being screened. During the interval, I heard people rebuking ‘that villain who tortured the heroine’. I was happy to get that reaction,” said Lamba.

Lamba said he was interested in the variety of roles that the Tamil film industry has to offer. “I would like more villain roles. There are not many villains here,” he says.
