SHRC directive to Police Commissioner

The AP State Human Rights Commission Chairman Justice B. Subhashan Reddy directed Visakhapatnam City Police Commissioner N. Sambasiva Rao to give a reply on the alleged rape of a minor girl by a Andhra Pradesh Special constable in Madhurawada on Monday.

The commission which took up suo motu inquiry into the incident following a press report, issued a notice to the Commissioner of Police and asked him to reply by September 28.
