Probables for Delhi Ranji squad

NEW DELHI: Thirty probables, headed by skipper Virender Sehwag, were named by the Delhi selectors on Sunday for this season’s Ranji Trophy.

The practice session will commence under the supervision of coach Vijay Dahiya at the Ferozeshah Kotla ground here on September 19 at 7.45 a.m.

Meanwhile, the selection committee for the Delhi under-22 team has named 70 probables for the three-day trials to be held at the National Stadium from September 17 from 8 a.m.

The probables: Virender Sehwag (Capt.), Gautam Gambhir (vice-capt.), Aakash Chopra, Shikhar Dhawan, Mayank Tehlan, Virat Kohli, Rajat Bhatia, Punit Bisht (wk), Mithun Manhas, Ashish Nehra, Ishant Sharma, Pradeep Sangwan, Chetnya Nanda, Aditya Jain, Gaurav Chhabra, Kuunal Lall, Amit Bhandari, Karan Harit, Rahul Yadav (wk), Abhishek Sharma, Yogesh Sachdeva, Suhail Sharma, Abhinav Bali, Manan Sharma, Rakshit Pant, Lokender Kumar, Kuldeep Rawat, Manav Sharma, Yogesh Nagar and Varun Kumar.
