No power supply in J.P. Nagar

Bangalore: There will be no power supply for three days from Sunday for about 5,000 houses in the 4th, 5th and 6th Phases of J.P. Nagar owing to on-going rain relief works. BESCOM officials told The Hindu that they had stopped power supply to nine distribution transformers which were taking care of power supply to about 5,000 houses as the BBMP had converted a road in this area into drain for diverting the excess water from Puttenahalli tank. Power supply will be restored after two or three days, the officials said. — Special Correspondent
