Retired Serviceman found strangled

New Delhi: A retired para-military employee was found to have been strangled at his residence in South Delhi, police said on Sunday.

Ram Dayal, who retired as a cook from the Shashastra Seema Bal, was found unconscious by beat policemen at his residence in Aya Nagar on Saturday night. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The 65-year old was apparently strangled to death, police said.

A case has been registered and investigations are on, the police said.
