Man falls from building, dies

The Mylapore police have registered

a case of

unnatural death


CHENNAI: A 29-year-old man, who allegedly fell from the fourth floor of a residential apartment in Mylapore on Saturday night, died at a hospital on Sunday.

Police said P. Patrick Anand (29) had come to visit his brother residing on Appu Mudali Street in the locality with his family members.

At around 11.30 p.m., Anand allegedly slipped and fell. He was rushed to hospital,where he died in the early hours of Sunday.

The Mylapore police have registered a case of unnatural death.

Post-mortem due

An officer said the post-mortem report would reveal whether the deceased was under the influence of alcohol or the fall was due to some other reason.
