CBI probe sought into lynching incident

PATNA: The Akhil Bharatiya Nat Samaj staged a dharna here on Monday protesting against the lynching of 10 members of the community at Delhpurwa village in Vaishali district on Thursday and demanded a CBI probe into the entire episode.

Members of the “nat” (nomadic) community said they had no faith in the State government in delivering justice to the community and warned of a long-drawn agitation if the central investigating agency was not given the job of investigating the matter.
