50th anniversary of central educational society held

THULLURU (GUNTUR): Lauding the efforts of ‘Central Labour Educational Society’ in providing assistance to hundreds of daily wagers in unorganised sector, Sarva Siksha Abhiyaan Minister Murugudu Hanumantha Rao has said that the organisation has been a beacon of hope for many daily wage labourers.

Speaking at the 50th anniversary of the organisation at Mangalagiri, he said that the organisation has been successfully disseminating information about the various welfare measures of the Central and the State governments. Various training programmes held here have spread awareness to many persons, he said.

He called upon the organisers to lobby with the managements of mining industries to start insurance policies for workers in their organisations.

Acharya Nagarjuna University Human Resources Development professor Trimurthy presided over the function.
