Political parleys in Nepal fail to make headway

KATHMANDU: Political uncertainty looms large in Nepal as parleys among the various political parties and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoists) failed to make any headway on Monday.

Maoist Chairman Prachanda has threatened his party would quit the government if their 22-point charter of demands was not met by September 17.
